I have to say, designing and 3D modeling these solar monument signs were some of the most enjoyable mainstream work I've had. This was related to the real estate graphic design gig I had from Austin, TX.

My client would tell me what materials he was using, give me an idea what he wanted, send a sample of the branding for the company and a photo of the lot where the sign would be built.

I would then build the sign in 3D, swap out materials to give a few options, then we'd fine tune it from there. I can even light them and show night-time versions of them so he can show his clients.
