Science Fiction

When I create an alien, I think about the environment in which it evolved, how it survived, and what affects its environment had on its development. When I create a piece of machinery, I want you to get an idea how it works, where its energy source is, what its function is.

All of this contributes to the believability of the scene.

Fantasy Art

I started my career doing mostly Fantasy Art and selling prints and originals through gaming convention art shows.

This lead to Fantasy Portraits, that I still love to do.

There's no limit or specific rules you need to follow when you create fantasy. It's one of the most freeing genres there is!

Mainstream Art

Being able to illustrate fantasy and science fiction means you have to be able to do everything. You need to be able to paint real-world things first, if you want to be able to make things up. So working in mainstream illustration is only logical when making a career of your work.

Visit my mainstream pages to see what I have to offer.

Horror

I went through a period where I was getting commissioned to come up with horror art for an agent in Germany to market to his clients, which lead to a large spurt of just horror art for a period of time. That lead to some video game gigs and other book cover art.

Childrens Books

Most of my Childrens Book art was work that was commissioned through a website in Canada that advertised several artists, and if the author liked your style, they'd hire you for their book. I did LOTS of them!

Feel free to hop over there to see more samples of each style, along with my fees.
