I love creating aliens....

When I set out to create an extraterrestrial creature, I dive into a process of imagining its natural habitat. Does this being thrive in a parched desert, deep underwater, a murky swamp, or perhaps a volatile volcanic environment? These considerations become the starting point for shaping its unique traits.
I think about the physical adaptations necessary for survival in its chosen world. For example, in a hot desert environment, maybe the creature develops a tail that acts like a canopy, cleverly shading its body. Or it could have a bone-like callus and insulating layers of fat beneath to protect against intense solar rays.
Creating aliens goes beyond assembling random features. It's a scientific, as well as an artistic process that requires some understanding of how a life form interacts with its environment. Each appendage, texture, and color serves a purpose, intricately woven into the ecological fabric of its home.
